CORONAVIRUS BUSINESS UPDATE

The outbreak of COVID-19 is affecting businesses of all sizes across the length and breadth of the country. Kindertons are no different and have worked tirelessly to adapt to the challenges raised as a result of this global pandemic.

Whilst this situation is fluid and will continue to evolve, we wanted to take this opportunity to share an update on how we are tackling this crisis and the measures we are taking. Rest assured, protecting the health and well-being of our employees, our partners and their clients and our supply chain remains our number one priority.

We have now implemented our infectious disease protocol plans to ensure public safety and continuity of service following recent Government, NHS and Public Health England advice.

OUR EMPLOYEES

Our head office in Crewe is now open again, with a large proportion of our Claims Handlers now back working on-site. We have carefully calculated the maximum capacity for each building, to ensure that our employees can observe social distancing whilst they work. We are also consistently providing all office-based staff with hand sanitiser and any other Personal Protective Equipment that they may require. All other staff members continue to work remotely. With immediate effect, our Claims Teams will be working between the hours of 8:30am and 5pm. Urgent customer assistance will still be provided outside of these core opening hours and will be delivered by our out of hours provider.

SERVICE DELIVERY

As a business, we are maintaining a clear and strong focus on ensuring that we meet the ongoing needs of our customers, while doing all we can to keep you, your customers, our employees and our local communities safe.

At this time, we are continuing to deliver hire vehicles to our customers should they need them. Increased precautionary measures and social distancing will apply and the mobility needs of essential workers will be prioritised firstly.

We have also introduced additional cleaning techniques in each of our vehicles before and after hire to help reduce the spread of the virus. This includes paying particular attention to areas such as steering wheels and door handles.
